Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you are welcomed by our local guide and escort to your hotel. Fast Track Immigration & VIP Service at the airport, including a welcome garland and a deluxe transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Bangkok .
Day 2: Bangkok
Begin the first morning of your memorable honeymoon by making “Sankatarn” a special kind of offering dedicated to Buddhist monk and get holy blessing for your happy marriage life. This Buddhist ritual is exclusively arranged for the couple at Wat Ratchaborphit, one of the most beautiful Royal Temples with a nice, quiet and not touristy atmosphere. They will be impressed by its harmony of dazzling Thai architectural exterior and elegant European influence interior.
Continue to the Grand Palace, visit the most beautiful temple of an ancient Siamese Court , also visit the beautiful Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha in Thailand .
After the visit, cross the river by a shuttle boat to Supatra River House, overlooking the Grand Palace , for a sumptuous Thai set lunch. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok - Golden Triangle
Free until time to transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival in Chiang Rai, you are welcomed at the airport and transferred to Golden Triangle. Arrive at Golden Triangle and take a leisurely boat trip along Mae Khong River to Chiang Sean.Lunch at a restaurant overlooking Mekong River .
After lunch, visit Anantara Elephant Camp. A skilled mahout can guide his elephant through its working day with around 70 soft commands, light touches behind the ear and years of understanding between the elephant and his master. But did you know that anyone can drive an elephant? A short half-hour lesson will teach you the basic commands and actions, give you the thrill of riding on the neck of this magnificent beast and having it respond to your commands. Drive elephant back to hotel.
Finishing your mahout lesson by take a nature based trek in the forest. An 1 hour hill trek through the bamboo to our private Golden Triangle viewpoint giving a panoramic view of Laos and Burma while enjoying a local cold beer or coke. Return to hotel for time at leisure. Overnight in Golden Triangle
Day 4: Golden Triangle
Visit Hall of Opium at Golden Triangle Park . Discover an invitation to the mysterious world of opium. From darkness to light, the 5,600 square meter exhibit the opium story from its natural properties to its use as long ago as 5,000 years. It traces opium's global journey through trade routes in the age of imperialism, culminating in the Opium Wars - an event that disgraced both winners and losers, leading to the fall of the Manchu Dynasty - through to the Siamese wisdom in confronting the West and the eventual control of opium problems.
Hall of Opium also presents paraphernalia associated with opium smoking and trading, along with many photographs, films, and videos about opium and other illegal drugs from countries around the world. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through handicraft shop, local market in Mae Sai. Drives drown the romantic and scenic mountain road along the Myanmar border through Baan Huay Nam Rim, Akha Village and visit Baan Pha Hi, a classic Lahu village and Doi Chang Mub Arboretum. Day 5: Golden Triangle - Khum Lana
After breakfast, twist and turn through fantastic mountain scenery, stopping in remote, high altitude tribal villages along the way. Drive up Doi Tung Mountain to the temple on top from where you have a magnificent vantage point over the surrounding mountains and plains. Visit the Doi Tung Palace (Palace of the Queen Mother), surrounded by wonderful tiered flower gardens before descending and coming into Doi Tung Development Project, the site of a comprehensive Sustainable Alternative Development Program (SADP) initiated in 1988 by Her Royal Highness, the Princess Mother, mother of the reigning King Bhumibol Adulyadej. En route, visit Royal Handicraft at Huai Nam Khun by foothill of Doi Tung, to see how the mountain people participate with the Royal Project and all activities and running as profit sharing to the local community and under the Royal Patronage such as wearing, paper mulberry, Arabica coffee and pottery. Enjoy a ceramic painting and take it back home. Lunch at local restaurant.
Transfer to Khum Lanna in the countryside of Chiang Mai. On the way stop to visit the fascinating Wat Rong Khun, a dazzling white temple. Upon arrival at Khum Lanna, a tasty welcome drink (herbal tea or fruit juice from the garden) will be served. Briefing and orientation for you to select your next day activity. Thai farmer shirts will be provided for guest use during the stay by Khum Lanna.
Day 6: Khum Lana - Chiang Mai
05h30: Coffee/tea will be brought to your room for your wake-up call before we start our sunrise biking trip along the rural country road via San Kwang village to Phrao to visit an early morning local market where local coffee is available. With the help of your guide you may buy local cookies and the flower garland for the temple offering on the way back. Then walk to visit the farmer's rice and traditional tools shop, chat with the owner and learn more about the rice legends and differences & properties of the varieties of rice. Your local escort will translate.
Cycle back to Khum Lanna with a stop to visit Wat Pa. Pay respect to the Buddha image under the sacred tree. Continue biking to Khum Lanna along the local canal with a stop in the rice fields to get more information about the rice- growing process and the place of rice in Thai life. Upon return, refreshment or shower before a local Lanna-style breakfast which is set on the riverside.
10h00: We first give you Khum Lanna concept living with rice by orientation and introduction of “Thai Rice Legend” then demonstration and participate in Thai Sticky Rice cooked before take you on an organic garden tour around the compound, you collect different seasonal herbs, vegetables and fruits for cooking including information of different Thai Rices display and farmer tools museum.
11h00: Get your free sample of our “Khum Lanna Thai Recipe Book” before Thai cooking class begins. Share an informal Lanna country-style BBQ Lunch with sticky rice that you have prepared with your host.
14h00: Experience hot-pressed herbal massage (consisting of 8 kinds herb; ginger, zingiber, lemongrass, plantain, tamarind leaves, soap pod, camphor and Aom Kiew ). Late afternoon, leave Khum Lanna for Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai
Day 7: Chiang Mai
Morning travel by tricycle along the Ping River to a local market called “Waroros Market”, the lively market in Chiang Mai where you can explore fresh fruits, vegetable, food, necessary items for daily life, etc. Continue walk across the river to Wat Gate community, one of Chiang Mai's oldest neighborhoods. The prosperity of Wat Gate area can still be seen, even nowadays, from all the buildings most of which are homes or different ethnic business offices. Walking into this area, we will find religious sites dedicated to Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Sikh.
There are homes which still maintain their old architectural structure, which is almost 100 years old. Visit Wat Gate museum in the Wat Gate temple area. The displays of eclectic collections were what people had been handed down from their ancestors from generation to generation. They were lacquerware, crystals, Chinese pottery and other native objects. However, the interesting things in the Wat Gate area are not only what one sees in the museum. Everything in the community, buildings, culture, traditions, and food all reflect the Wat Gate's uniqueness, prosperity and wealth, not only in terms of property but also the local wisdom of the local people. Afternoon, drive up to Doi Suthep to visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep located on a mountain overlooking the city and the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here at 3,500 feet above sea level.
Proceed to Baan Tawai handicraft village in the outskirt of Chiang Mai for an upscale a wonderful shopping upscale arts and crafts. Return to hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 8: Chiang Mai - Phuket
Time at leisure until transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for departure to Bangkok . Direct flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket is also available. Upon arrival in Bangkok , transit flight to Phuket. Arrive Phuket Airport and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnighin Phuket.
Day 9: Phuket
Today is free at leisure for relax and unwind. A wide variety of optional activities are available upon request. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 10: Phuket
You will be picked up from the hotel at approximately 07:30 a.m. and transferred to the embarkation pier at Yacht Haven Marina by air-conditioned bus. Embark on board the "June Bahtra" for 09:00 a.m. departure and enjoy your cruise through the enchanting and breathtaking Phang Nga Bay.
Around noon, you will arrive at James Bond Island and continue your journey by long tail boat through the mangrove delta and the Grotto Cave to the Sea Gypsy village. A delicious Thai buffet lunch is served back on board, then the afternoon is free to relax, sunbathe and swim. Cruise back to Phuket Island and transfer to the hotel. You will arrive back in your hotel at approximately 18:00. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 11: Phuket - Bangkok
Time at leisure until transfer to Phuket or Samui Airport for a flight to Bangkok. Arrive Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.
