Details Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Phnom Penh (L/D)
Arrive at Phnom Penh International airport where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel.
The same morning, Cyclo ride to Independence Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda, National Museum and lunch at local Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Wat Phnom temple and the day ends at Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 2: Phnom Penh visit (B/L/D)
Today you will hear the sad stories of the Genocide Museum known as Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields. Return to hotel after having lunch. The rest of the day is free by own leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 3: Phnom Penh – Kompong Cham – Snuol –Mondolkiri (B/L/D)
Today, depart Phnom Penh to Kompong Cham. Make a stop in Skuon to taste Cambodian’s more exotic culinary delights, the deep-fried tarantulas, crickets and beetles. Drive to Chhup, the biggest rubber plantation in the country, established during the French colonial time by the French tire maker Michelin. After having lunch in Snuol, we drive further to Sen Monorom, the capital of the Mondolkiri province with scenery and a climate quite unlike anywhere else in the country. Sen Monorom will be the base from which to explore the surrounding hill tribe villages and the waterfalls. Overnight in Sem Monorom

Day 4: Mondolkiri Sightseeing (B/L/D)
Early morning, visit the local market where many of Phnong people from nearby villages are coming to trade with their distinctive baskets carrying on their back.  Full day visit to the nearby hill tribe’s villages and the pretty waterfalls just a few kilometers away from the sleepy town and there are hundreds of minority villages around Sen Monorom. One of the largest and easiest to access is Phlung village inhabited by Phnong. The curious huts have woven wooden walls and thatched roofs almost to the floor. Three or more families often live in just one hut. You will be lucky to see more than a handful of people during daytime, as they are all out working in the fields.
After having lunch box, we get elephant ride through the jungle with experienced Mahout. Overnight in Sem Monorom
Day 5: Mondolkiri – Bou Sra Waterfall (B/L/D)
After breakfast at local restaurant, travel to Bou Sra waterfall about 40 km northeast from Sen Monorom. This double drop waterfall is one of the largest and most impressive in Cambodia. Discover Phnong village of the same name. On the way back see numbers of hill tribe’s villages and the scenery countryside. The lunch box will be provided. Overnight in Sem Monorom

Day 6: Mondolkiri – Snuol – Kratie (B/L/D)
Leave this isolated forested province and drive to Kratie via Snuol. Arrive in Kratie at lunch time and check in at hotel.  In the afternoon, city tour of this small provincial town with its good examples of sumptuous colonial architecture. This tiny town on the Mekong is an unexpected delight, with a relaxing, indolent atmosphere. Further north stop at the best riverside vantage point from which to view the rare freshwater Irrawady dolphins which can be best seen late afternoon. Overnight in Kratie

Day 7: Kratie – Kompong Cham (B/L/D)
Today, drive through typical Cambodian landscape along rubber plantations via Snuol to Kompong Cham. After having lunch, we drive further to visit Wat Nokor, the ancient temple and modern style pagoda (12th century) and brief tour of Kompong Cham to view examples of colonial architecture. Overnight in Kompong Cham

Day 8: Kompong Cham – Kompong Thom (B/L/D)
Depart Kompong Cham for Kompong Thom. En route, visit Wat Kohear Nokor temple (11th century) including nearby village and its pagoda where you can observe the monks daily life. Visit Phum Prasat with its single ancient temple and the nearby modern pagoda.
After having lunch in Kompong Thom, drive further to Sambor Prei Kuk, the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period. Before heading to Siem Reap make a stop at the ancient bridge, Spean Pratpo if time permitted. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 9: Temple visit (B/L/D)
Today visit Roluos Group, the earliest of the Angkor temples, visit three principal monuments, Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei. Return to Siem Reap for lunch avoiding the midday heat.
In the afternoon, visit one of the modern seventh wonders of the world Angkor Wat, the most famous and the best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. This late afternoon view the twilight on hilltop of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 10: Explore Angkor Temples (B/L/D)
Today, visit the great capital of Angkor Thom, South Gate, the magnificent temple of Bayon, originally there were 54 towers decorated with 216 enigmatic smiling faces, Baphoun, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, and Terrace of Leper King.
Before having lunch, continue to the unfinished pyramid temple, Ta Keo and jungle temple Ta Prohm, one of the most fabulous temples in the area. The temple has been left several centuries and it was overgrown by vegetations, gigantic tree roots, creepers covering all over temple towers.
We head out to the Grand Circuit in the afternoon, to visit the others amazing temples with different architectural art styles as well as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, an island temple with five square ponds set right middle of the last Baray, Ta Som, East Mebon and sunset at Pre Rup. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 11: Phnom Kulen & Banteay Srei (B/L/D)
Today, drive to Kulen Mountain, the quarry which provided stones to build temples in Angkor area. There, we first visit the site of the Lingas carved in the riverbed by successive kings of the Angkor period and a walk further will bring us to the site of a huge natural rock with on top a big reclining Buddha carved in the sandstone block. Our walk will also bring us to a waterfall, don’t forget your swimsuits and join the locals! More carvings in the riverbed can be discovered above the waterfall. This is also a very popular place for Khmer people to come and enjoy their weekend with a picnic. Lunch box will be provided at the site.

After having lunch, visit Banteay Srei, the pinkish sandstone with delicate carvings. On the way back to hotel, make a stop at local communities to observe how they produce rice products, sugar palms and other commodities. The day ends at Banteay Samre. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12: Floating village - departure (B/L)
After breakfast, drive to the Great Tonle Sap Lake, and take a boat trip to floating villages. On the way back, visit Artisan d' Angkor workshop. This trip is all depending on your departure time. The trip ends after your transfer to airport for flight departure.
