Details Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at Dong Kralor – Stung Treng – Ratanakiri
Proceed through customs and immigration at Dông Kralor (Trapeang Kreal) immigration check-point (Laos-Cambodia border). Meet our guide on Cambodia side and departure to Stung Treng (50 km). Arrive in Stung Treng having lunch at local restaurant. Next, travel to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri (3 hours drive). Overnight in Ratanakiri

Day 2: Ratanakiri visit (B)
Depart direction northwest and cross bamboo forests before reaching the village of Voeune Sai located on the left bank of the Se San River. Enjoy the stunning view of the Chinese village on the other side of the river. This place could be regarded as Chinese enclave in Cambodian territory as most of the villagers who are there since the thirties don't even speak Khmer. Upstream of the Se San are a certain number of Tampoun villages that practice funeral statuary. If weather conditions permit, take a scenic boat trip to the village of Ka Choan and visit its superb totems. Alternatively this marvelous place can be reached by jeep. Overnight in Ratanakiri

Day 3: Ratanakiri exploration (B)
Heading towards Laos and the village of Taveng. After crossing Veyrum Plang, a round lava field surrounded by forest, visit a small waterfall (in the rainy season only) which is enclosed by tiger caves. Later on, stop at beautiful local Kroeung villages located in the forest on both sides of the road. The more north you drive, the more beautiful the forest becomes. In some Kroeung villages, depending on the season, you might be able to discover some very impressive bachelor houses built on high stilts. They have an interesting background: Having fulfilled their purpose when the young men have become family heads, these houses are destroyed before being raised again by younger men the following season. Depending on the time and the state of the dirt road, a location will be chosen for a picnic before exploring the nearby villages.

Day 4: Ratanakiri – Stung Treng – Kratie (B)
After breakfast, early departure for a quick shopping tour in Banlung, departure by road to Stung Treng and have lunch at local restaurant, drive further to Kratie. Stop in Sambo to observe the river dolphins until sunset. Then, continue to Kratie, a small colonial-style town. Overnight in Kratie

Day 5: Kratie – Kompong Cham
Today, drive to Kompong Cham, make a stop at Chhup, a rubber plantation first established in the region by the French tire maker Michelin and have lunch in Kompong Cham. The same day visit the silk-weaving village of Prek Chang Kranea and Wat Nokor, the ancient temple and modern style pagoda (12th century). Overnight in Kompong Cham

Day 6: Kompong Cham – Udong – Phnom Penh
After breakfast, depart to Phnom Penh via Prek Kdam. Take the ferry across the Tonle Sap River. Then, visit Kôh Chen, a small silver handicraft village. Drive to Udong where a picnic lunch will be served. After having lunch, visit the various temples and three large Stupas where the ashes of three former kings are preserved. Drive directly to Phnom Penh and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7: Phnom Penh visit (B)
Today,
 we start city tour including Independence Monument, National Museum, the Royal Palace,and the Silver Pagoda, and lunch at local Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Wat Phnom temple. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 8: Tuol Sleng Museum  & Choeung Ek Killing Fields (B)
Today, visit the Genocide Museum known as Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields. Return to hotel after having lunch. 
Late afternoon explore central market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs. The rest of the day is free by own leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 9: Flight to Siem Reap (B)
Today, take a domestic flight to Siem Reap.  Arrive at Siem Reap International airport where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

After relaxing for a while in your hotel, drive to Roluos group, the earliest of the Angkor temples, visit three principal monuments, Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei. Return to hotel after having lunch.
In the afternoon, visit one of the modern seventh wonders of the world Angkor Wat, the most famous and the best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. This late afternoon view the twilight on hilltop of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 10: Angkor Temples (B)

Today, visit the great capital of Angkor Thom, South Gate, the magnificent temple of Bayon, originally there were 54 towers decorated with 216 enigmatic smiling faces, Baphoun, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, and Terrace of Leper King.

Before having lunch, continue to the unfinished pyramid temple, Ta Keo and jungle temple Ta Prohm, one of the most fabulous temples in the area. The temple has been left several centuries and it was overgrown by vegetations, gigantic tree roots, creepers covering all over temple towers.
We head out to Grand Circuit in the afternoon, to visit others amazing temples with different architectural art styles such as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, an island temple with five square ponds set right middle of the last Baray, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 11: Kbal Spean & Banteay Srey (B)
Today, drive through the typical Khmer countryside to Kbal Spean, the exquisite Banteay Srei (Citadel of the Woman), the temple was made of pinkish sandstone with delicate carvings. On the way back to hotel, make a stop at local communities to observe how they produce rice products, sugar palms and other commodities. The day ends at Banteay Samre. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Phnom Kulen & Beng Mealea (B)
Today, drive to Kulen Mountain, the quarry which provided stones used to build temples in Angkor area.There,  we first visit the site of the Lingas carved in the riverbed by successive kings of the Angkor period and a walk further will bring us to the site of a huge natural rock with on top a big reclining Buddha carved in the sandstone block. Our walk will also bring us to a waterfall, don’t forget your swimming suits and join the locals! More carvings in the riverbed can be discovered above the waterfall. This is also a very popular place for Khmer people to come and enjoy their weekend with a picnic. Lunch box will be provided at the site.

After lunch break, we drive through the countryside and the mountain range of kulen Mountain to the visit Beng Mealea, a large ruinous temple overrun by vegetations. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 13: Floating Village -  Artisans d' Angkor (B)
After breakfast, drive to the Great Tonle Sap Lake, and take a boat trip to floating villages. On the way back, experience an oxcart ride to explore Cambodian life style for 30 minutes, we then enjoy a walking tour of a local Cambodian Village. This is a chance to learn about village life, culture and traditions. Your trip also contributes to the village, helping the local community. There are lots of photo opportunities of people and landscapes. Visit Artisans d' Angkor workshop.
