Travel Cambodia - 7 Days/ 6 Nights

Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap (B)
Arrive at Phnom Penh International airport where you will be met by your tour guide and driver and transferred to your hotel.
After check in, City tour by Cyclo ride (1 hour) including the Independence Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda, National Museum and lunch at local Restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Phnom and the day ends at Central Market for shopping. Overnight at Cardamom hotel

Day 2: Phnom Penh Sightseeing (B)

Today, you will hear the story of the Genocide Museum, known as Tuol Sleng Museum, and Choeung Ek Killing Fields. Return to hotel after lunch for afternoon break. The rest of the day is free for your own leisure. Overnight at Cardamom hotel

Day 3: Drive to Siem Reap (B)                                     
Today, overland drive to Kompong Thom, stop in Skuon to taste Cambodian’s more exotic culinary delights: the deep-fried tarantulas, crickets and beetles. Visit Sambor Prei Kuk with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period. Next, stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Prapteus). This trip passes through Cambodia’s beautiful landscapes so you can discover the daily life along the way. Overnight at City River hotel

Day 4: Secret Temples of the Forest (B)
Get up early to beat the crowds at the photogenic Ta Prohm Temple of "Tomb Raider" fame.Coordination with the driver allows you to wind you way through temple sites without having to retrace your steps. Ta Prohm is magical: Undisturbed by crowds of tourists you can better appreciate the interplay of man and nature. After having breakfast in the hotel, you have time for a swim or massage.

In the after visit the great capital of Angkor Thom, South Gate, drive the short distance to the magnificent temple of Bayon, originally there were 54 towers decorated with 216 enigmatic smiling faces. We explore all of the amazing temples including Baphoun, the Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, the Terrace of Elephants, a giant viewing stand for public ceremonies and the Terrace of Leper Kings, whose walls boast beautifully carved nagas, demons and other mythological beings.

This evening you can learn about classical Khmer dance; an art form which was almost lost during the Khmer Rouge regime. You will be introduced to one of the dancers before the show to learn the meaning of the highly stylized hand movements. Overnight at City River hotel
Day 5: Angkor Wat Sunrise (B)
Early start for the sunrise at Angkor Wat temple, take advantage of the relative cool and tranquility of the morning to explore the central complex and surrounding bas-reliefs and returning to the hotel for a late breakfast.

After such an early start you can decide if you feel like exploring Siem Reap town in the mid-late morning or relax with a massage and swim before lunch.
Head out to Grand Circuit to visit other amazing temples with different architectural styles such as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, an island temple with five square ponds set right middle of the last Baray, Ta Som, East Mebon and view the twilight on hilltop of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight at City River hotel

Day 6: Waterfalls & Pink Temple (B)
Drive to Kulen Mountain, the quarry which provided stones to construct temples in Angkor area. There, we first visit the site of the Lingas carved in the riverbed by successive kings of the Angkor period and a walk further will bring us to the site of a huge natural rock with on top a big reclining Buddha carved in the sandstone block. Our walk will also bring us to a waterfall, don’t forget your swimming suits and join the locals! More carvings in the riverbed can be discovered above the waterfall.

After lunch break, we drive back to visit
Banteay Srey, the temple was made of pinkish sandstone with delicate carvings. On the way back, make a stop at local communities to observe how they produce rice products, sugar palms and other commodities. Visit Banteay Samre and Pre Rup. Overnight at City River hotel

Day 7:
 Training School (B)

After breakfast, drive to the Great Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat trip to explore the floating villages. On the way, visit Artisans Angkor, the training school was created to help supporting young people who have lack of education in rural areas. The school is specialized in the fields of handmade ornamental sculpture, lacquering, gilding, silk painting and silk- painting. This trip is all depending on your departure time. The trip ends after your transfer to airport for flight departure.
