Detail Itinerary:

Day 1: Saigon – Arrival
Arrive in the late morning at Tan Son Nhat International airport where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel. 

After having lunch, in the afternoon we will visit such sites as the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Tay Ninh (B)
Today, we travel to Cu Chi Tunnels, the Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or “American War” as it’s referred to here) as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through selections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime. Next, visit Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh and partake in the noontime prayer service. This large and colorful compound is home to the hybrid religion founded in the 1920s: Caodaism, which combines elements of Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in order to promote peace. Have lunch in Tay Ninh and return to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Cantho (B)
Today, we leave Saigon to the Mekong River Delta. Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before driving to the riverside town, Cai Bai. Along the way, stop at a candy factory and orchard garden, where you have an opportunity to listen to traditional music. After having lunch at a riverside restaurant, then cross the Mekong by motorized boat to visit some fluvial islands and explore the countryside by bicycle. Our driver and guide will meet you at Vinh Long pier and take you to Can Tho city for the night.

Day 4: Cantho – Chau Doc (B)
Today we travel to the riverside town, Chau Doc, situated along the Cambodian border. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive northwest to Chau Doc. Check in at the hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, bored a boat to tour the Mekong River and learn about local culture, stopping to see the stilt houses of a Cham village as well as a local fish farm. Return in the evening and drive up Sam Mountain to watch the sunset in the distance over the Cambodian border.

Day 5: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh by Speed Boat (B)
This morning we travel by speedboat up the Mekong to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. The trip takes about four and a half hours including visa formalities. Visas are easily obtained at the border between Vietnam and Cambodia and cost $22 (including the processing fee). Our guide will meet you at the dock in Phnom Penh and take you to the hotel. After having lunch, take a leisurely tour to shop at Central Market and try out your best bargaining skills. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 6: Phnom Penh City Tour (B)
After breakfast, Cyclo tour to Wat Phnom, Independence Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda, National Museum.
After having lunch, visit
the Genocide Museum known as Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields.  Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 7: Overland Excursion to Siem Reap (B)
Today, overland excursion to Kompong Thom, stop at Skuon to taste Cambodian’s more exotic culinary delights, the deep-fried tarantulas, crickets and beetles. Visit Sambor Prei Kuk, located 35 km northeast of Kompong Thom, the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period. Next, stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Prapteus). This trip passes through Cambodia’s beautiful landscape and discover peaceful villages and daily life along the way, up on arrival check in and the rest of the day is free by own leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 8: Visit Angkor Temples (B)
After breakfast at hotel, we travel to the great capital of Angkor Thom, South Gate, the magnificent temple of Bayon, originally there were 54 towers decorated with 216 enigmatic smiling faces, Baphoun, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, and Terrace of Leper King.
Before having lunch, visit the jungle temple Ta Prohm, one of the most fabulous temples in the area. The temple has been left several centuries and it was overgrown by vegetations, gigantic tree roots, creepers covering all over temple towers.

In the afternoon, visit one of the modern seventh wonders of the world Angkor Wat, the most famous and the best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. This late afternoon view the twilight on hilltop of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 9:  Explore Angkor Temples (B)
Today, we drive through the typical Khmer countryside to the exquisite Banteay Srei (Citadel of the Woman), the temple was made of pinkish sandstone with delicate carvings. On the way back to hotel, make a stop at local communities to observe how they produce rice products, sugar palms and other commodities. Banteay Samre, Pre Rup and return to your hotel for midday break. 

We head out to the Grand Circuit in the afternoon, to visit the others amazing temples with different architectural art styles as well as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, an island temple with five square ponds set right middle of the last Baray, East Mebon and enjoy sunset drink at Angkor Wat moat. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 10: Floating Village, Workshop & Shopping (B)
After breakfast, drive to the Great Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat trip to explore floating villages. On the way back, visit Workshop, Artisans d' Angkor or additional shopping at local markets. The trip ends after transferring back to airport for flight departure.
